If ALL Live Matter...

 


WHY haven't you gotten your Covid-19 vaccination?  (And if you have you can skip this whole thing if you want...I won't be too disappointed.)

Vaccines work!  Yes, there is the miniscule possibility that it won't work for you.  Just like there is a one in a million (or more) chance that you will have a life altering reaction.  (I'm not talking about just getting sick with chills, fevers, aches, etc.)  I will not say that there is absolutely no risk in getting this vaccine (or any vaccine for that matter), but the odds are lower than low that you will.

Getting the vaccine protects YOU.  You are saving your own life.  Getting the vaccine protects your family, your friends and total strangers.  Getting the vaccine protects those who are unable to get one that this time; like children under the age of 12.  (Hopefully that will change because children really need to be protected.)  If you saw a child drowning, would you jump in a pool to save them?  If so, then why won't you get the vaccine?

If you are not willing to get the vaccine; if you ARE willing to risk your life and health and the lives and health of all those you come into contact with, then you are no friend of mine.  Friends do not put friends at risk.

Furthermore, if you refuse to get the vaccine, you cannot ever call yourself pro-life.  Allowing those around you the risk of illness and death, is not pro-life.  You are CHOOSING to risk the lives of everyone you come into contact with.  That is not pro-life.

No one is forcing you to get vaccinated.  The government is NOT mandating it.  The government and health care professionals (as well as myself; and I am NOT a healthcare professional) are encouraging you to get vaccinated.  They want to save lives; they want to protect ALL the people.  Why don't you?

Finally, if you are one of the rare people who cannot get vaccinated for medical reasons; know that you matter to me.  My entire family and I care enough to get vaccinated to try to keep you safe.  Because you can't, I will encourage all that CAN to do so.  Your life matters.  Your health matters.  YOU matter.

Please get vaccinated.  Safe a life.  Make ALL lives matter.

Please Don't Ask Me...

 ...about the house.  (For clarity:  I am talking about the house that my parents lived in at the Jersey Shore.)  I realize that you mean well.  (Or at least most of you do...if you've read  https://bfthsboringblog.blogspot.com/2023/07/not-guilty.html  you know who I mean.) My mom died a year ago Sunday.  My dad died last Saturday.  I am NOT focused on the house right now.  I am working on organizing a memorial down at the shore later this month.  (Which is turning out to be a lot more complicated than I thought it would be and SHOULD be.)  I am thinking about the graveside service that is scheduled for tomorrow morning.  I planning for the people that might come back to our house afterwards.  (Have no idea how many; so I've ordered some food and have some beverages and think I have enough.  I probably have too much, but that's how I roll.)  I am fielding phone calls and messages from friends and relatives, which I appreciate (if you're reading this Amanda, Linda, Pat

Lowe's LIES

Note:   before you start reading this blog post go back and read my  previous post . It will give you some important information about the BS that I have been dealing with when it comes to getting a new refrigerator and  Lowe's .  First off, let me say if you are my friend or if you are my enemy (I don't have any do I?), if I know you or if I don't know you, let me give you this advice.  NEVER  order an appliance from  Lowe's . Let me say that again  NEVER EVER  ever order an appliance from  Lowe's .  After the debacle that  Lowe's  created on Friday the 16th of June, I reordered the same refrigerator to be delivered to the shore address on Saturday June 17th. I was told that the refrigerator that they could not deliver because they had the wrong town had to be returned and I would be credited.
