Corrections And Renaming

 Renaming places seems to be a "thing" these days.  So I thought I'd join in the fun because my thoughts and opinions certainly count as much as the next persons.  I also wanted these names to be "correct," meaning they'd tell the truth (as I see it).  So below see a map of part of Washington, DC.  Each lettered place has been renamed by me.  



A = The White RACIST/RAPIST House

B = The Reflecting Pool that the liar ruined

C = The BEST REPUBLICAN PRESIDENT Lincoln Memorial

D =  The Grounds ruined by a trashy "party"

E =  The Golden Guilded mess of a room

F = The trash patio formerly known as the Rose Garden

G = The Washington Monument: he (supposedly) couldn't tell a lie; does anyone even know what truth is anymore?

H = NOT a shopping Mall; the National Mall for ALL people, except for...

I = The United States Museum of IT DID Happen  because the Holocaust is was a real thing even if you try to deny it

J:  Smithsonian Museum and F you can't change it

K =  The Museum of African Americans:  Slavery is not a myth

L = The Musuem Where Your Portrait Will/Should Never Hang because no one wants to see it

M = The Memorial to Those Who Didn't Have Bone Spurs and Actually Fought 

N =  Gardens Named in Honor of That Piece of Paper That Means Something And That You Have Chosen to Ignore.


And there are three more:



O = Creepy Home of a Pedophile Friend of Jeffery Epstein (0 = LOSER)

P = Gravesite of 1st wife who you might have had killed, but definitely cheated on with 2nd wife who you cheated on for 3rd wife


Q =  Just another airport and highway stamped with your name, but still just an airport and highway that are not really important

Finally, there's one more that I didn't rename, but is about to be renamed and I totally agree with:

(And if you don't know what worthwhile person this airport is about to be renamed for, then you should go for a dunk in the Gulf of Mexico or Lake Ontario.)

So agree or disagree with what I've got here...I just figure any random person has the right to change the name of anything that want if they don't like it.  Don't we?

Is there any one of us who does not like to be treated specially?  I mean each of us is unique and special in our own way, but to be picked out for a special task or special honor is always a wonderful treat. Vaccine

  Today my husband is getting his Covid-19 vaccine.  He has been waiting for this day for a LONG time.  (Haven't we all?)  He fits the current age requirement (currently 55+ in NJ) and has underlying conditions that make him eligible (high blood pressure and diabetes.)  He's understandably nervous, anxious and excited all at the same time. I know I will feel the same way when it is my turn.  I am still under 55 (at least for another 2 months).  Although I still take blood pressure medication, my dosage is extremely low and I only take it every other day.  (This is with the doctor's approval; and when I next go for a physical I may ask if it is still necessary.  I was much heavier when I started this regime.)  I do not know my BMI and it may or may not meet the current BMI ≥ 25 kg/m2 requirement. Sad Sunday Story

  I went to church today, as I do most Sundays.  The day's sermon started off with a TRUE Story, which devastated me and I had to hold back my emotions for the rest of the sermon.  As a Christian, but more importantly as a HUMAN BEING, the story which the priest relayed, hurt.  And it made me ashamed for what our nation has become. The story wasn't really a story at all.  It was a letter (okay an email) from a fellow clergy person in his former parish.   This email had been sent to all the parishioners past and present to announce the fact that they were leaving/retiring and moving to Spain.  It's important to note that in addition to being a member of the clergy, this person had also served in the military, so you know they had seen and experienced things that were ugly in their lifetime.  I also think that ANYONE who serves has a sense of commitment and belief in America and is brave/courageous no matter how or when they served.
